Fire panic injured 50 in N’ganj

NARAYANGANJ: At least 50 workers were injured amid fire panic at a readymade garment factory in Narayanganj sadar upazila on Monday night.

Fatulla Model Police Station SI Amzad Hossain said, “The incident took place at Abanti Colour Textile when the workers tried to come out of the six-storey building as the fire alarm rang around 9pm.”

He said, “The number of injured could not be known immediately but they were rushed to Khanpur hospital.”
