DHAKA: Foreign Minister Dipu Moni categorically said that she did not talk to the visiting Thiland prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra whether BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s younger son Arafat Rahman Koko is staying in her country or not.
The minister told this while replying a query of the reporters on Friday afternoon after a meeting with the Thai PM at city Pan Pacific Sonargoan Hotel.
“We did no talk whether Koko is in Thiland or not”, Dipu Moni said.
She mentioned that two pacts will be signed with Thiland during the visit of Yingluck Shinawatra.
Dipu emphasized on better bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Thiland.
Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand, arrived Dhaka on Friday afternoon on a two-day official visit.
A special flight carrying Thai PM landed at Shahjalal International Airport at 5:30pm and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received her counterpart.
The Thai premier will hold talks with her counterpart Sheikh Hasina on Saturday.
Thai PM is accompanied by Commerce Minister Boonsong Teriyapirom, Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul and PM`s Office Ministers Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisan and Sansanee Nakpong.
She is scheduled to leave for Bangkok on Saturday evening.
