SIRAJGANJ: Police held six activists of Shibir, student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, from Ullapara rail gate area on Sunday night.
They were identified as Rafiqul Islam, Abdul Hakim, Abdul Maleq, Saiful Islam, Altaf Hossain and Ariful Islam.
Officer-in-Charge of Ullapara Thana Biman Kumar Das told banglanews, “The activists of Shibir were held as they were plotting to create anarchy in the area.”
They were sent to jail through the court, he added.
