150 non-cadre secys given postings

DHAKA: A total of 150 promoted non-cadre assistant secretary were given postings in different ministries and departments.

Public Administration Ministry issued notification to this effect Sunday.

On November 1, some 156 non-cadre administrative and personal officials were given promotion.

Promoted officials said earlier only an official was given promotion against 173 posts.

“Some 156 officials were given promotion and the rest 16 officials are in waiting list for promotion,” said a competent source of the ministry.
