DHAKA: Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, will be celebrated across the Middle East countries on Sunday as the Shawal moon was not sighted in Middle East sky on Friday.

According to Gulf News, the Eid will be celebrated on Sunday, ending a month-long fasting as the moon was not sighted on Friday.

After a month-long fasting, Muslims across the globe will seek divine blessings, peace, progress and prosperity in their Eid congregations.

World Muslim leaders in their separate messages have greeted their countrymen and the Muslim Ummah across the globe on the occasion.

In their messages, they said after a month-long siam practice Eid-ul-Fitr brings messages of pure joy and pleasure for the mankind.
