CHITTAGONG: The results of some 99 students were corrected after the reassessment of their answer sheets of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations this year under Chittagong Education Board.
Of the students, 10 got Grade Point Average (GPA) 5.0 and around 22 students have passed the exam after the reassessment.
The result was published on Tuesday morning.
Exam Controller of the board Dr. Pijush Datt told banglanews, “The unexpected problem occurred due to the OMR sheet or number sheet digit errors.”
Earlier on July 31, a total of 4,410 students submitted applications for re-checking the answer sheets of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations this year.
Earlier, the applications were received by Short Messaging Service (SMS) using the service providing telecommunication company Teletalk from July 19 to 26.
Around 53,968 students from 191 institutions appeared in this year`s HSC and equivalent examinations and of them, 72.29 percent passed.
